The Ministry of Transport has joined the Zero Debris Charter initiative for the responsible use of space

The Ministry of Transport, which is the coordinator of space activities in the Czech Republic (which also includes ESA Technology Broker Czechia), has signed the so-called Zero Debris Charter. This step took place as part of an event for Czech industry aimed at preparing the upcoming phase of the European Space Agency (ESA) Space Security Programme, the goals of which are closely linked to the idea of the Zero Debris Charter initiative.

The Zero Debris Charter focuses on minimizing the generation and emission of space debris as well as ensuring the safety of space activities. The signing of this charter confirms the Czech Republic's commitment to the sustainable and responsible use of space.
